On November 5, the opening ceremony of the 8th China International Import Expo and the Hongqiao International Economic Forum was held grandly at the National Exhibition and Convention Center in Shanghai. Premier Li Qiang of the State Council attended the opening ceremony and delivered a keynote speech. This year’s CIIE features an exhibition area exceeding 430,000 square meters, spanning across multiple sectors such as the low-altitude economy, artificial intelligence, and high-end agricultural products. Notably, the agricultural products section brings together premium global offerings, including specialty meat and seafood items, serving as a vital bridge that connects international high-quality supply with China’s burgeoning consumer market—and aligning perfectly with Welcome Group’s strategic industrial layout.
